About The Role
HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is essential, and IT skills are preferred. The ideal candidate will communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.
The Maintenance Operative will ensure residents live in a proactively inspected and well-maintained environment. Responsibilities include conducting audits, maintaining records, and performing repairs such as replacing taps, fitting extractor fans, repairing windows, or decorating. Kindness and professionalism are paramount.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All staff must attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and seek advice or escalate concerns when necessary.
