Service Coordinator - Pudsey - Paying 30 - 40k depending on experience + Career Progression + Benefits
My client a well established Manufacturer based in Leeds are looking for a Service Coordinator to add to their team. This is a key role supporting service operations, ensuring customers receive a seamless and professional experience from initial enquiry through to resolution.
Responsibilities as the Service Coordinator:
* Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email and video
* Coordinate service requests, engineer schedules, and job updates
* Maintain accurate records of all interactions within the CRM system
* Prepare quotes for repairs, breakdowns and equipment upgrades
* Liaise with internal teams including engineering, logistics, and procurement
* Monitor job progress and ensure timely resolution of issues
* Build strong relationships with customers to support repeat business
* Support continuous improvement of service processes and workflows
* Refer to and interpret engineering drawings
* Prepare RAMS for site visits
* Assist field service engineers with technical queries and troubleshooting
Experience as a Service Coordinator:
* Background in Mechanical Engineering (Electrical is desirable but advantagous)
* Strong technical administration skills with attention to detail
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Excel (Hubspot or Microsoft Dynamics)
* Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
Desirable experience as the Service Coordinator:
* Knowledge of spare parts management and service planning
* Familiaritry with SOPS
* Expereince with steam systems, pressure vessels, and captial equipment is highly desirable
* Experience with LEAN methodolgies or continus improvement inititaves
* Multilingual would be an advantage
