What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for an Associate SQL Server DBA with a minimum 1-2 years’ experience to join our System Build team. This isn’t a traditional DBA role – it’s a chance to grow into a DevOps‑focused database engineer, working with modern tools and practices to automate and improve how we manage our SQL Server platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting the design and build of SQL Server environments (on‑prem and cloud)
* Learning to automate database deployments using CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy
* Helping improve performance, reliability, and security of our database platforms
* Collaborating with developers and engineers to solve real‑world problems
* Getting hands‑on with scripting, version control, and infrastructure‑as‑code
What We’re Looking For
* 1‑2 years’ experience working as a SQL Server DBA (any version)
* Comfortable writing T‑SQL and working with SQL Agent jobs
* Understanding of backups, restores, and high availability
* Eager to learn DevOps tools and practices
* A proactive mindset and good communication skills
