Bescot Hall is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art school catering primarily for children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, as well as providing for children with autism who have moderate speech and learning needs. The school educates up to 72 children aged 8 to 16.
Our clinicians are a crucial part of the most joined-up model in SEND. Across all our specialist schools and children’s homes, we provide unrivalled levels of clinical support, both in expertise and breadth of provision. Our young people present with complex needs including developmental trauma, neurodevelopmental conditions, and special educational needs.
As part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team, you will support educational and residential colleagues to create therapeutic living and learning environments. Based on clinical assessments and formulations, you will offer individualized interventions and engagement to our young people. You’ll also assess mental health and recommend appropriate interventions in personalized care plans. Building rapport is key; this will enable you to deliver effective counseling and provide feedback on progress.

* Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC
* Have proven skills and experience in engaging and delivering therapeutic interventions to children and young people with complex needs

* Be a confident, engaging leader, trainer, and model
* Be highly organized and proactive
