What you’ll do:
* Lead and manage bids and tender submissions for the Transport business, reporting to the Business Development Director.
* Manage and lead a Bid Team based in Warwick and London, planning resources to pursue opportunities effectively.
* Ensure optimal resource utilization across the business to maximize opportunities.
* Oversee the end-to-end management and production of high-quality, successful bids according to Telent’s bid procedures.
* Improve bid quality continuously, adopting best practices.
* Monitor bid costs and seek ongoing improvements in bid return on investment.
* Develop relationships with existing and potential customers, including site meetings and presentations.
* Manage Bid Team performance, KPIs, and SLAs.
* Lead bid strategies, from Go/No Go decisions through to submission and post-bid support.
