Role Information
At our Hair & Beauty Academies, we offer practical, real-world training in fully operational salons. Learners develop hands-on skills supported by accredited courses from Levels 1 to 4 across 13 academies nationwide. As a Learner Recruitment Officer, you will support the academy by driving learner starts and enrolling successful learners. This busy role requires balancing commercial and administrative activities daily.
DUTIES
1. Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations.
2. Identify and promote courses to learners and referral sources.
3. Engage with potential learners, providing accurate information, advice, and guidance, and keep records of activities.
4. Conduct initial assessments, identify support needs, and communicate with colleagues.
5. Maintain learner tracking details and coordinate with tutors and assessors.
6. Support tracking of learners into positive destinations for 26 weeks post-completion.
7. Identify employers with employment, apprenticeship, or placement opportunities and develop relationships for post-qualification opportunities.
8. Engage with local employment partnership groups to promote services and opportunities.
9. Respond to client inquiries and support their requirements.
10. Attend promotional events and career fairs to promote Learning Curve Group and the academy.
11. Complete recruitment documentation accurately and timely.
12. Operate in line with company values and expected behaviors.
13. Comply with safeguarding, Prevent, and health & safety policies, remaining vigilant to concerns.
14. Ensure confidentiality and professionalism.
15. Provide support, advice, and guidance to learners, customers, and colleagues.
16. Promote equal opportunities and diversity throughout the organization.
Experience
Experience in engagement/sales roles, preferably in education, with skills in sales, marketing, and social media. Experience in building business partnerships and implementing sales strategies aligned with growth targets is advantageous.
Knowledge & Skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills. Strong IT skills for reporting and analytics. Ability to work target-driven and travel regionally.
Qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
