Where will you be working?
At M Group Energy, we're enabling the energy essential to support our lives. We provide end-to-end solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering, and home decarbonisation. This role will be within our EV team, working to make safe, quality, sustainable EV projects a reality. Our teams install charging stations, ensuring they are accessible and reliable, integrating them into the energy network.
What will you be doing?

Are you a skilled Estimator with experience in assessing bid opportunities and leading bid/no-bid reviews? Can you evaluate project risks and potential problems while checking the accuracy and completeness of client tender documents? Do you have a talent for determining the Civils BofQ for pricing and building up rates from first principles? If so, this role is for you. You will assist in preparing tender submissions and delivering post-tender presentations to clients, supporting the technical and estimating aspects of tender and quotation preparation from specifications and drawings within defined timeframes.
What you'll bring
* An estimating background from a civil environment with extensive experience delivering capital projects.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
* Knowledge of electrical infrastructure construction, operation, and maintenance, with an appreciation of National Grid and DNO standards.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* The ability and desire to identify opportunities for improvement and influence change.
* Organizational skills with high attention to detail and adaptability to changing workloads.
* Strong people management skills.
* Commercial acumen with knowledge of contracts (NEC, ICE, JCT).
* Understanding of construction project planning and sequencing.
