Post Doctoral Research Associate (Fixed Term) at Cambridge Service Alliance.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 1 year in the first instance. The post is to work with Prof. Michele Vendruscolo at the Centre for Misfolding Diseases, Department of Chemistry, University of Cambridge. The project studies the phase behaviour of alpha-synuclein and its links with Parkinson's disease.
Responsibilities
* Conduct research on the phase behaviour of alpha-synuclein using a variety of biophysical methods.
* Collaborate within a multidisciplinary, dynamic and collaborative environment.
* Contribute to a research programme and produce publications as part of the project.
Qualifications
* PhD in a relevant specialist area (or about to obtain).
* Background in experimental biophysics or related disciplines.
* Strong interest in applying biophysical methods to complex biological systems and working in a multidisciplinary team.
