Join our client's fast-growing business as a Device Management Engineer. You'll manage and administer over 12,000 devices, handling escalated incidents, software deployments, and day-to-day device administration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Incident Management: Resolve device-related incidents escalated by the IT Service Desk.
* Device Administration: Manage devices, including anti-virus, application deployment, and group policy.
* OS Maintenance: Maintain and deploy operating system images.
* Application Deployment: Package and deploy enterprise applications securely.
* Service Promotion: Advocate for services like Office 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud.
* On-site Support: Assist with device installations, including occasional travel.
Requirements:
* Device Management Experience: Microsoft, Android, or Apple devices in an enterprise setting.
* Technical Skills: Experience with Jamf, Soti, or SCCM/MECM, as well as mobile device management.
* Application Packaging: Knowledge of packaging techniques and deployment methods.
* Office 365: Experience supporting Office 365.
* Networking: Understanding of DNS and DHCP.
* Security Applications: Familiarity with enterprise anti-virus products.
* Asset Management: Knowledge of asset management for hardware and software.
Skills:
* Problem-Solving: Strong IT problem-solving skills.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Organisation: Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
* Interpersonal: Relate to a broad spectrum of individuals.
