MIG Welder – Hitchin
Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced MIG Welder in Hitchin to join a busy and established production environment. This role is ideal for someone with solid welding experience who is confident working with different metal sizes and thicknesses.
Location: Hitchin
Salary: £14.00 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Job Type: Full-time, Ongoing

Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out MIG welding tasks to a high standard in a production environment.
2. Weld a variety of metal thicknesses and sizes.
3. Interpret and follow technical drawings and job specifications.
4. Ensure all welding work meets safety and quality requirements.
5. Support wider production tasks when needed.
Essential Skills & Experience
6. Previous MIG welding experience is essential.
7. Confident working with different metal sizes and thicknesses.
8. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
