We're excited to be recruiting for an Engineering Team Leader to join our Engineering department at our Manufacturing site based in Crick. This is a permanent position working a 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights shift pattern.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction to the engineering team, creating a culture of engagement and high performance
Line management of the shift team including absence, performance and development
Act as the first point of contact for engineering escalations on shift
Ensure all engineering activities are carried out safely, in line with site regulations and policies
Deliver planned, preventative and reactive maintenance to support operational efficiency
Lead daily and weekly planning meetings, ensuring work is prioritised and executed effectively
Manage and delegate work requests, ensuring timely completion and feedback
Drive continuous improvement and problem solving across the shift
Ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards at all times
Support training and development of team members, acting as a mentor for new colleagues

£28.50 per hour (including shift allowance)

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar Engineering Team Leader or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline
Strong leadership and people management skills
Experience working with CMMS systems
Knowledge of maintenance best practices (e.g. TPM, RCM, FMECA)
Understanding of health & safety standards, ideally NEBOSH qualified or working towards
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
