Salary: Unpromoted Teachers Scale £33,594 - £50,589
We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated teachers to help shape education provision in Dumfries and Galloway. Our commitment to teachers is evident through high-quality professional learning for all. This post is for 35 hours per week based in Lincluden Primary School, with 14 hours potentially within the School Learning Centre.
This is a temporary position up to August 2026 and may be suitable for a Secondment. Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for this post on a secondment basis.
This post is part of Dumfries Learning Town schools and/or The Bridge to deliver courses as part of the BGE and/or senior phase curriculum to meet learners' needs.
Applicants must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS), Clerwood House, 96 Clermiston Road, Edinburgh, EH12 6UT, in the appropriate sector.
This post involves Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check before a formal offer of employment.
Applicants who have resided outside the UK within the last 5 years, if offered a position, will need to provide a police record check from the relevant authorities in their country of residence.
