Epsom South Kindergarten, a dedicated Enviroschool, is seeking a dynamic Head Kaiako to lead our team of passionate educators. Our beautiful, spacious environment fosters curiosity, creativity, and a deep connection with nature.

Ideal Candidate:
11. Proven Experience: 5+ years' experience in ECE with a current full practicing certificate and first aid.
12. Passionate Educator: Deep commitment to play-based learning and child-centred approaches.
13. Strong Communicator: Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with whānau, staff, and the community.
14. Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and implement effective plans and strategies.
15. Collaborative Team Player: Fosters a positive and supportive team culture.
16. Bicultural Competency: Understanding and appreciation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Māori culture.
17. Environmental Champion: Passion for sustainability and a commitment to environmental education.
18. Demonstrated Pedagogical Leadership: Experience in leading and mentoring teams, and a focus on continuous improvement.
19. Operational Expertise: Understanding of early childhood regulations and compliance requirements, including internal evaluation.
