About the Role
Our client, a respected manufacturer of high-quality PVC doors and windows, is looking for a reliable and hard-working individual to join their team in Norwich. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with excellent long-term potential for the right person.
You will be trained to assist in the manufacturing of PVC doors and will also support local deliveries using our 3.5t van. No two days are the same - you'll split your time between hands-on workshop tasks and delivering our products to local customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the production and assembly of PVC doors
* Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
* Heavy lifting of materials and finished products
* Carry out local deliveries in a 3.5t company van
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
* Experience with power tools is essential
* Confident with heavy lifting
* Full UK driving license (for 3.5t van use)
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
* Background in manufacturing, carpentry, or similar trades is an advantage
* Willingness to learn and take instruction as part of a close-knit team
What We Offer
* Starting pay of £12.25 per hour, with an increase after 12 weeks
