Description About the role: The International eCommerce team is recruiting an eCommerce Trading Lead to be at the forefront of our global growth! The International eCommerce Trading team fuels global growth by managing and optimising online product sales across 72 international markets. They drive exciting product launches, strategic promotions, and collaborate with leading third-party platforms to maximise sales and brand visibility worldwide. As an eCommerce International Trading Lead, you will play a key role in maximising the performance of search and navigation across your designated regions. You’ll collaborate closely with the Search & Navigation Manager and Regional Business Manager to continually improve how customers discover and engage with products. Using a data-led approach, you’ll identify opportunities to enhance search results, sort order, filters, item titles and navigational structures - ensuring everything is optimised for maximum impact. You'll be at the forefront of trading strategy, driving improvements that boost performance, while also making sure new launches and seasonal moments are perfectly executed and easy to find. What else is involved? Support the business owners to maximise the performance of all funnel metrics for search & nav (e.g. search conversion rate). Top free type searches for their countries reviewed and optimised. Make changes based on data (redirects, search pills, filters, synonyms. attribution/item titles, navigation updates). Reviews sort order and suggests opportunities to improve as well as flagging issues. Uses reports daily to flag any sort order issues, works with the business owners to resolve. Supports investigations into issues and optimisation. Reviews navigational performance Vs search performance and makes changes. Suggests amends to navigation based on data. Reviews searches on Next and on google and pushes through optimisation (including item titles). Supports sort order QA. Regularly reviews the competition.
