Are you an analytically minded professional who enjoys turning data into commercial insight? We are currently seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join a growing team supporting a period of business growth. As Commercial Analyst, you’ll play a key role in helping the business make smarter decisions. Working closely with key business leaders amongst the wider commercial team, you’ll provide data-driven insights that support profitability, identify growth opportunities, and help optimise product performance.
You’ll get involved in everything from reviewing the commercial viability of new products and analysing sales trends, to managing pricing data and helping shape stock strategy. It’s a hands-on, varied role that offers visibility across product development, marketing, purchasing, and sales – ideal for someone who enjoys collaboration and influencing key decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Evaluate the commercial performance of new and existing products, supporting decision-making on pricing, margins, and investment.
* Review and report on market data, identifying trends and insights to guide strategic direction.
* Support stock management by analysing turnover and highlighting slow-moving or obsolete lines.
* Maintain customer pricing data and manage promotions or adjustments within internal systems.
* Collaborate across departments to share insights and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
Experience & Skills background
* Strong commercial awareness and analytical ability, with a track record of turning numbers into meaningful recommendations.
* Experienced in data analysis and comfortable using tools such as Power BI (or similar).
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders across the business.
* Highly organised, flexible, and proactive – able to prioritise and deliver in a dynamic environment.
* Project management experience would be an advantage.
