The role
As an Engineering Safety and Compliance Coordinator, you’ll take a central role in driving safety, quality and regulatory standards across both Part‑ and CAMO operations. You’ll lead investigations into engineering and human factors events, support compliance activity across the organisation, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are delivered effectively. This is an exciting opportunity to influence safety culture, shape improvements, and work with leaders and subject matter experts across the aviation business.
Day-to-day, you will:
1. Conduct and coordinate engineering occurrence investigations and human factors investigations, providing detailed trend analysis.
2. Lead the response to CAMO and Part‑ audit findings, working with departments to develop and implement root cause analysis and corrective actions.
3. Support Engineering Management by ensuring procedures and standards are compliant with CAA and EASA requirements.
4. Promote high standards of workmanship and compliance across maintenance activities.
5. Support continuous improvement and workforce competency through training, assessment and guidance.
This role is full time working 40 hours per week and is based on site at Gloucestershire Airport, Staverton.
Essential experience of the Engineering Safety and Compliance Coordinator:
6. Strong working knowledge and experience in a Part‑ commercial aircraft maintenance environment.
7. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, building strong relationships across the organisation and with regulators.
8. Knowledge of Part‑, Part‑CAMO and Part‑66 regulations with demonstrable application experience.
9. Experience in a rotary aircraft maintenance environment (desirable).
10. Experience working with OEMs and service providers (desirable).
Qualifications for the Engineering Safety and Compliance Coordinator:
11. Foundation Degree in Aerospace Engineering; or
12. Aerospace Apprenticeship with considerable industry experience, ideally holding a Part‑66 AML.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
