As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth and delivery of a wide-ranging portfolio that includes battery storage, solar and grid stability projects This is an ideal role for a junior candidate with transferable skills looking to build a career in a purpose-driven, dynamic environment.
Support project management activities across a diverse portfolio of energy development projects.
Assist in preparing, submitting, and managing planning applications, including the discharge of planning conditions, working closely with external consultants.
Help maintain detailed project schedules, risk registers, and budgets, and support internal project governance processes.
Undertake basic commercial modelling to assess project viability.
Maintain project trackers and support general project administration.
Collaborate with GIS and design teams to screen potential sites and contribute to optimal site layouts.
Some understanding of the energy development lifecycle, particularly planning processes and land agreements.
Financial awareness with the ability to support project budgeting and basic commercial assessments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Project tools.
Degree-educated in a relevant field (e.g., geography, environmental science, planning, or surveying), although other qualifications and experience will be considered.
Willing to travel, with a valid UK driving licence and access to transport (occasional overnight stays may be required).
