The Role
As a Vehicle Electronics Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in advancing military technology and modernizing defense systems. Your responsibilities include:
1. Designing and developing vehicle electronic systems
2. Integrating electronic components and systems into vehicles
3. Preparing detailed technical documentation, including system specifications
4. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and guidelines
5. Developing innovative solutions for vehicle system improvements
This full-time role (37.5 hours/week) can be based in Bristol, Walsall, or Plymouth.
Experience Required
* Strong understanding of electrical/electronic engineering
* Knowledge of embedded systems and real-time operating systems
* Experience with 230V, 24V, and 12V system design and integration
* Familiarity with CAN Bus, Ethernet, and other vehicular communication protocols
* Understanding of military standards (preferable)
Qualifications
* Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or relevant engineering subject
* Ideally working towards professional membership with a recognized engineering institution
Security Clearance
