What will you be doing?
If being part of a passionate and motivated team that strives to deliver excellent service to our customers, members, and communities interests you, then read on.
We’re looking for enthusiastic and forward-thinking people who want to make a difference by being there when our communities and customers need us most. As part of a multi-skilled team, you will cover different tasks in a fast-paced environment, including working on checkouts, the shop floor, housekeeping, date code checking, temperature checks, administration, or the in-store bakery. You will promote the benefits of membership to customers, encouraging them to join and participate in how our Society is run.
Every day offers new experiences and opportunities to impact and improve the lives of those around you.
How will I know if I am right for this role?
At Central England Co-operative, everyone’s welcome. If you have flexibility in your working hours, including evenings and weekends, our stores can offer a variety of shifts. You’ll work alongside a passionate in-store team dedicated to delivering exceptional service daily.
Prior experience is not necessary; you just need to take pride in your appearance and actions, be willing to learn, and strive to do your best. A warm, friendly character who enjoys talking and listening to customers will thrive here. You’ll actively contribute to the community spirit of the store and become a valued member of the Society.
We can help you build skills to achieve your goals. With training, coaching, and guidance, opportunities for progression are in your hands.
