You will be working in the Finance enabling Function based in Leavesden (Watford) in where we are responsible for protecting and growing a successful Skanska UK with predictable, profitable and sustainable performance. We partner with the business to deliver excellent financial services, efficient processes and robust governance — ensuring every decision supports our shared future.
We are currently looking for a Finance Manager - Projects who will to act as a strategic business partner to the leadership team of a portfolio of Hard Facilities Management projects.
As the Finance Manager - Projects, you will:
1. Timely production of accurate and insightful monthly management accounts in accordance with Skanska internal accounting manual and IFRS accounting policies.
2. Support the preparation of monthly management accounts for Healthcare Facilities Management (FM) projects, analyse performance, explain variances against latest forecast and provide insights to support decision-making.
3. Monitor contract KPIs, profitability, cash flow, cost development, and work alongside project teams to drive and optimise financial performance
4. Preparation, key support, analysis and coordination of the quarterly forecasting cycle. Support the commercial and operational teams in producing the FM Healthcare reporting pack for submission
5. Ensure financial processes are adhered to and to identify/implement improvements in processes, reporting and systems as appropriate
We are looking for:
6. ACCA or CIMA qualified.
7. Minimum of 5 years’ experience of management and financial accounting.
8. Demonstrates strong commercial awareness and demonstrate ability to improve systems and processes.
9. Demonstrates strong commercial awareness.
10. Experience managing PFI projects and good PFI contractual understanding
