An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent social worker to join our duty team. We have a permanent vacancy for a full time social worker to work as part of our Family Help and Protection Duty Team. Our Duty Teams work alongside our MASH and Family Help and Protection Teams to provide assessments and intervention to families in order to identify the best form of support for a child and family in need.
The role
We are seeking a social worker who has excellent verbal and written communication skills, is able to think creatively to problem solve, who has robust assessment skills and who works well as part of a multi agency group of professionals. The successful candidate will be able to assess the needs for a family and be able to provide timely and focused intervention.
What's needed?
The successful applicant will hold a valid social work qualification with relevant experience in children's social work practice and be able to provide a clear enhanced DBS check.

The interview will consist of an interview and a written exercise.
The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
DBS clearance is required.
