Details of the role:
Salary: £31, -£33,
FTC 6 months, full-time role
Location: London (2 set days per week in the office)

What you'll be doing:
As a key member of a dynamic Royalties team, you will play an essential role in supporting new authors and illustrators by accurately inputting and maintaining contractual information into the Biblio royalty system, and handling internal and external queries.
The Royalties Assistant will work closely with the Royalties Manager and collaborate with the wider Royalties Accounting, Contracts, Editorial, and Finance teams. This is your chance to be part of an exciting transformation and contribute to process improvements that ensure the success of our projects!
Key responsibilities:
·Carefully review author contracts to gather royalty information, including advance payments, and accurately enter this data into the Royalty and Finance Systems promptly
·Handle confidential information, such as bank details, addresses, and tax information, ensuring it is correctly recorded in the accounting systems in a timely manner
·Respond to external inquiries professionally, accurately, and in a timely fashion
·Conduct a monthly review of royalty exception reports and take necessary actions based on the findings
What We're Looking For:
·Basic knowledge or interest of royalty contracts
·Professional communication skills with agents/authors via email and phone
·Strong attention to detail and meticulous data entry skills
·Some experience in publishing royalties and sub-rights is a plus but not essential
·Excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines
