Job Description
We’re working with a high-profile professional services business in Leeds seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to support the business through a period of transformation. This 9-month FTC is ideal for someone with strong technical and commercial finance skills, including group consolidations and reporting system implementation experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own the group consolidation process across multiple legal entities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting under UK GAAP/IFRS
* Support the implementation of a new group reporting tool, working with finance systems and IT teams to ensure a smooth transition and automation of reporting processes
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes, delivering timely and insightful MI to key stakeholders
* Partner with operational and project leads to support commercial decision-making and project performance tracking
* Produce high-quality board reporting packs, financial commentary, and variance analysis
* Assist with process improvements and standardisation across business units
* Provide support and mentoring to junior finance team members during a period of change
About You:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience
* Demonstrated experience in group consolidations, ideally in a multi-entity, services-based business
* Hands-on involvement in implementing new reporting tools or improving reporting processes
* Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting frameworks (UK GAAP/IFRS)
* Proven track record in business partnering, financial planning, and delivering insights to non-finance stakeholders
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, change-driven environment with multiple priorities
The Offer:
* 9-month fixed-term contract, starting ASAP
* Competitive salary: £75,000 – £80,000
