The Role
As a
Senior Nurse, youll provide expert clinical leadership and person-centred care to meet the physical, psychological, and social needs of residents. Youll: Lead and support the nursing team, acting as a role model and mentor Create a safe, supportive environment for residents with a range of complex needs Use professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions and oversee high standards of care Develop, review, and monitor tailored care plans and risk assessments Ensure safe administration of medication and compliance with clinical governance standards Support continuous improvement and training across the nursing team
Essential Criteria
CurrentNMC registration (RGN) Proven experience in a Senior Nurse or leadership role Strong knowledge of clinical practices, regulatory frameworks (DoLS/MCA, Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines) Experience producing and reviewing care plans, risk assessments, and clinical audits Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop nursing staff
