Purpose:
1. To be part of the Integrated Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Team, working closely with project teams, stakeholders and the supply chain
2. To be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring programs that promote a safe and healthy working environment whilst ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, reporting to the Head of HSEQ Department.
3. To deliver Health, Safety, Environment and Quality support and advice to the site, including coordinating / carrying out site audits.
4. To ensure that all Risk Assessments, SSOW, COSHH and other key documents are reviewed and fit for purpose.
5. Ensure any environmental consents or permits required are applied for, and all conditions are complied with. Communicate permit requirements/conditions to the project delivery team in good time to enable work to be planned.
6. In the event of any Health, Safety or Environmental incidents, carry out the necessary investigation, preparing reports and remedial actions as required and liaising with regulatory bodies.
