We are looking for a resilient and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school in Brighton. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people with behavioural needs and helping them succeed both in and out of the classroom. Location: Brighton, UK Start: After the Easter holidays Hours: Full-time / Part-time available Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) Role Overview As a Behaviour Mentor, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with behavioural needs Implement behaviour support strategies and individual plans Build positive relationships to support emotional regulation and engagement Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs and pastoral teams Support students in managing behaviour and improving attendance Promote a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment Ideal Candidate You will: Have experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs Be calm, patient and resilient under pressure Have strong communication and de-escalation skills Be confident managing challenging behaviour Be committed to making a positive impact on students' lives Desirable: Experience in a school or alternative provision setting Knowledge of SEMH needs Relevant qualifications in education, youth work or similar Why Join Us?
