Job Title: Senior Oracle Developer – BPM
Location: Remote (Occasional Travel To Leeds)
The Role
As a Senior Oracle BPM Developer, you will enhance customer experience and reduce processing time around retail lending. You will analyze the existing 11g application to identify deprecated features, incompatible components, and potential issues in 12c, and understand the changes required for compatibility. You should configure the JDeveloper 12c environment for WebLogic for unit testing and development tasks.
Key responsibilities:
* Migration of BPM applications from 11g to 12c environment.
* Seamless integration of dependencies post-migration.
* Modifying existing code to align with 12c’s updated features and address deprecated APIs or tags.
* Designing and modeling end-to-end business processes using Oracle BPM Studio or Process Composer.
* Creating Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) workflows and BPMN diagrams.
* Providing support in testing, debugging, deployment, and maintenance.

* Code Development: Write, test, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient code.
* Code Review: Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
* Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges and bugs.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Gather, refine, and clarify requirements related to BPM changes and migration from 11g to 12c.
* Project Planning: Assist in sprint planning, task estimation, and prioritization.
* Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, or technologies to improve efficiency.
* Testing: Write and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests.
* Documentation: Maintain proper documentation for code, APIs, and system designs.
* Process Improvements: Implement best practices, including CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
