Quality Engineer - Aviation component maintenance. New opportunity for a quality engineer with a strong understanding of EASA Part 145 regulations. Key Responsibilities: As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System within a component maintenance environment. Your main duties will include: Conducting scheduled internal and external audits and inspections. Ensuring the independence of the Quality Departments to comply with EASA Part 145 regulations. Managing the Maintenance Occurrence Reporting (MOR) and Incident Occurrence Reporting (IOR) schemes. Staying updated on the latest EASA Part 145 regulations and Safety Management Systems (SMS) for risk-based management. Overseeing the day-to-day administration and control of the quality department and audit programme. Administering company manuals and the company authorisation system in line with legislation. Investigating and preparing reports on quality, technical, and maintenance issues using the MEDA methodology. Managing Non-Conformance's and engaging in negotiations with manufacturers/vendors on quality matters related to the maintenance of customer aircraft. Qualifications & Prerequisites: To be considered for this role, you should possess: Experience in an airline, maintenance, or quality safety environment. Demonstrable ability to conduct audits effectively. Solid understanding of EASA Part 145 regulations. Familiarity with Q Pulse Quality Management Software. This is a permanent job.
