We are currently recruiting an experienced Chef Manager for temporary ongoing agency shifts at a care home setting in Barnard Castle.
Role Details
* Position: Chef Manager
* Location: The Manor House, Barnard Castle, DL12 8ET
* Contract Type: Temporary Ongoing
* Shift Pattern: Flexible agency shifts released weekly
* Hours: 7:30am – 5:30pm
* Setting: Care Home
Pay Rates
* £20.00 per hour PAYE
* £22.00 per hour Self-Employed

Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
* A minimum of 6 months’ previous experience in a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager role within the UK
* Experience working within a care home or similar catering environment preferred
* A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a DBS certificate issued within the last 3 years
* Strong leadership and kitchen management skills
* Food hygiene knowledge and ability to work to high standards
Responsibilities
* Managing the day-to-day running of the kitchen
* Preparing and serving nutritious meals for residents
* Managing kitchen staff and maintaining food safety standards
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety and hygiene regulations
* Stock control and kitchen organisation
