Are you a compassionate and motivated Nursing Associate looking to make a real difference to children, young people and their families? We are seeking an enthusiastic Nursing Associate to join our dedicated Children\'s Community Nursing Team across Warwickshire. This is an opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team providing high-quality care to children and young people with acute, complex and long-term health needs in their homes, schools and community settings.
Responsibilities
* Deliver person-centred care under the direction of registered nurses.
* Contribute to assessments, care planning and the delivery of clinical interventions while promoting the health, wellbeing and independence of children and their families.
* Support children with complex health needs and undertake delegated clinical procedures.
* Collaborate with families, schools and partner agencies to support the child\'s needs.
* Communicate effectively with sensitivity, manage relationships, and make reasonable adjustments where necessary.
* Advocate for Children and Young People (CYP) referred to the Children\'s Community Nursing Team (CCNT).
* Support clinical education, palliative care, generic CCN work and caseload management of children known to Continuing Care as required.
Role and Team
The Nursing Associate works independently under the leadership of registered nurses, within the sphere of nursing and care and across all aspects of the nursing process, providing holistic and person-centred care in a variety of settings.
Qualifications and Attributes
* Nursing Associate with knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and behaviours relevant to employment as a nursing associate, and alignment with a nationally recognised code of conduct.
* Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment across home, school and community settings.
Work Environment
Operate across Warwickshire and beyond, including homes, schools and community services in the region.
