Subject to formal establishment, a vacancy will arise for an OF4 to serve as SO1 DEF HRS at Gosport on FTRS (HC) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 27 August 2026. Unit Function: Support operational effectiveness through delivering reliable, trusted and efficient services to the Regular, Reservist and Veteran communities. Position Role: As the DBS AFVS desk lead, support Corporate Services Modernisation (CSM)/Defence HR Service (DefHRS) and provide SME guidance on Military HR and JPA. Responsibilities: Provide SME guidance on Military HR and JPA. Maintain communication between CSM/DefHRS and DBS AFVS. Provide JPA SME advice to CSM/DefHRS through the participation in Detailed Design, Build and Delivery. Provide Mil HR SME advice and guidance to CSM/DefHRS to inform Detailed Design, Build and Delivery. Coordinate DBS AFVS participation in Detailed Design, Build and Delivery. Coordinate DBS Technical Delivery Partner (SDC) support to CSM/DefHRS to inform “as-is” JPA ORACLE system/process design. Review, in collaboration with DBS AFVS SMEs, project/programme design outputs to inform accuracy and deliverability of proposed functionality. Support DBS AFVS Teams in the delivery of DBS corporate outputs as required
