We are currently looking for a dedicated Registered Manager to lead either a solo home or a two-bed EBD home in Melton Mowbray.
The Role As the Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring that it operates safely, efficiently, and in line with Ofsted regulations. This is a unique opportunity to lead a small, supportive team and make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all aspects of the home, ensuring high-quality care for children and young people.
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and Childrens Home Quality Standards.
Lead, motivate, and support a small team of staff, fostering professional development and high standards of care.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and external agencies.
Promote a warm, child-centered, and therapeutic environment.
Manage administrative duties including staff rotas, safeguarding records, and reporting requirements.
About You Experienced Registered Manager or Deputy Manager ready to step up.
Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and EBD care practices.
Passionate about supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
