P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Senior Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join their team based in Cardiff on a full-time, permanent basis.\n\nMain Responsibilities:\n\n * Carrying out all disciplines of asbestos surveying and inspection, including management, refurbishment and demolition surveys as well as asbestos in the ground.\n\n * Air monitoring and airborne fibre counting.\n\n * Inspection of contractors’ remediation work, signing off removal works or rejecting unsatisfactory removals as part of the 4SC process.\n\n * Accurate collection of factual and numerical site data via a phablet device to automatically generate quality reports through their award-winning software, NexGen.\n\n * Familiarity and compliance with all asbestos relevant legislation and guidance e.g HSE and construction.\n\n * Maintaining your personal QHSE documentation and adhering to internal assurance processes.\n\n * Providing a professional and courteous service to clients, answering any queries that they might have, as well as specialist advice and interpretation where necessary.\n\nPerson Specifications:\n\n * BOHS P402, P403 and P404,equivalent RSPH qualifications or Certificate of Competence.\n\n * Working knowledge of both HSG:248 The Analysts’ Guide and HSG:264 The Survey Guide.\n\n * Full UK driving licence (manual).\n\n * Flexible approach to travelling and out-of-hours working.\n\n * Strong work ethic, with the ability to work effectively and intuitively alone or as part of a small team.\n\nWorking Benefits:\n\n * Overtime.\n\n * Paid travel.\n\n * 25 days annual leave.\n\n * Company van.\n\n * Working away allowance.\n\n * Life insurance.\n\n * Healthcare cashback scheme.\n\nIf this is a role you are interested in, please apply online ensuring your CV is up to date
