Role Definition
The Mince Room Supervisor will ensure that targets are met and regularly challenged and improved on. Delivering high standards of quality, ensuring product produced is to customer specification in line with critical control points, GMP and H&S requirements. Paying special regard to

company, personal & food hygiene rules and legislation
To achieve business value, improve customer service, drive employee performance and assist the Factory Manager in the efficient management of the operation.
Key Responsibilities
Maximise team performance, efficiency and yield
Minimise waste and cost
Ensure strict adherence to all company and legislative requirements
Develop and retain team members, driving employee engagement
Develop enhanced and future fit employee skillset
Maximise and ensure appropriate use and maintenance of production equipment
Drive employee flexibility
Support trainee development to ensure the 'next generation' workforce
Working alongside supervisors to ensure staff are present on lines and using SI System correctly
Having an understanding and using good hygiene practices, identifying wash downs and working alongside the hygiene team
To provide high quality samples for the NPD team
Ensuring quality of products meet customers standards whilst identifying any issues in relation to food safety
Having an understanding and providing the correct raw material to ensure the product is to spec and maintaining full traceability
Completing blade checks and ensuring all machines are safe and fully meet company health and safety standards before use
Pay & Shift Pattern: Negotiable, dayshift, 40 hours per week.

* Strong general manager
* Accreditation Food Hygiene equivalent at minimum level 3
Speaking, writing and understanding excellent spoken and written English language. (This is an essential health & safety, traceability, management and quality control requirement which will be tested as part of the recruitment process)
