Health & Safety Advisor
East Lothian Region

£32,000 - £38,000 plus package
Are you a health & safety professional based in East Lothian and seeking an opportunity where you can continue to grow and develop your careers? I am working with a business who specialist in design and installation, who are looking for a candidate who has experience working in high-risk sectors and happy to be based on one site in East Lothian. The ideal candidate will be NEBOSH qualified and have hands on experience in health & safety.
The Health & Safety will be responsible for:
* Promote a positive and proactive health & safety culture across all the business
* Support the Health & Safety Manager with the implementation of the H&S strategy
* Support site teams with RAMS and advice when required
* Carry out site-based H&S audits and inspections
* Conduct risk assessments and method statements for sites when required.
* Creation and delivery of internal training programme
The Health & Safety Advisor will have:
* 1-3 years’ experience working in health & safety
* NEBOSH certificate qualified
* Previous experience working in infrastructure, high-risk sector or manufacturing
* Knowledge of ISO 14001 & 45001 would prefer but not required.
* Happy to be based in East Lothian region daily
* Someone who is wanting to continue to grow and develop their career in health & safety
