East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC presents an exceptional opportunity for healthcare professionals seeking a rewarding career. The hospital is an 80-bed regional referral centre serving approximately 82,000 individuals in the East Kootenay Area. The facility provides 24-hour emergency and trauma services with 16 dedicated beds and a 6-bed ICU. The high-acuity-response-team (HART) provides mobile critical care for rural patients, stabilizing and transferring to higher-level care. The hospital features a four-floor building with a level 3 laboratory, a newly purchased PCR machine and MALDI/TOF, and an MRI suite with new MRI and SPECT CT machines. A new CT scanner is earmarked for purchase, and upcoming projects include a NICU, emergency department triage renovation, and new oncology and renal departments. The team delivers a broad range of services, including internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, ENT, pathology, psychiatry, pediatrics, anesthesia, radiology, urology, and family practice inpatient care.

East Kootenay Regional Hospital is seeking a Urologist. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. The candidate should be competent with the full scope of general urologic practice. Locums are welcomed; inquiries are encouraged.

Compensation
Compensation Type: Fee-for-Service. Estimated remuneration: Competitive.
Benefits and Incentives
May be eligible for additional remuneration under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:
* Retention Premium 14%
* Retention Flat Fee $21,696.00
* Relocation Funding: $9,000 for moves within BC, $12,000 for moves within Canada, $15,000 for moves from outside Canada
* Recruitment Incentive $20,000

* Eligible for licensure in British Columbia
