Salary: Up to £55,000, uncapped commission

Role Purpose
The Business Development Manager will generate and qualify new business opportunities for our procurement technology platform. This involves identifying and creating new leads, utilizing an extensive database, and closing SaaS platform subscriptions.
Key Responsibilities
* Prospect and qualify leads via calls, emails, meetings, industry events, and platform engagement, including AI tools
* Deliver compelling SaaS demonstrations to prospective clients
* Articulate BuyingStation’s value proposition in line with customer challenges
* Collaborate with marketing and product teams on opportunity management
* Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to sales forecasts
* Create and present SaaS proposals, respond to RFPs
* Support marketing efforts and develop campaigns for pipeline growth
* Represent the company and ensure excellent customer experience
* Work with internal teams, including our Indian delivery team
* Close new business by positioning BuyingStation as a strategic procurement solution
* Deliver tailored platform demos to address customer needs
* Engage with key stakeholders to shorten sales cycles
* Maintain a qualified pipeline with strong forecasting discipline
* Provide market and customer feedback to product and marketing teams
* Champion BuyingStation’s value as a trusted procurement partner
* Support and use the structured sales methodology (e.g., BANT)

Key Requirements
* 5+ years in Business Development or similar roles in high-growth SaaS companies
* Experience managing full sales cycles and closing strategic deals
* Knowledge of procurement lifecycle or contract systems (a plus)
* Proficiency with CRM and sales tools
* Excellent communication skills
* Self-starter with curiosity and results-driven mindset
