Are you analytical and looking for a placement opportunity that gives you real experience for the future? We are looking for two Business Insight Undergraduates to work as part of our Business Insight Team. Both roles will focus on data, reporting, communication, and presenting. You’ll join a team of enthusiastic specialists that support the delivery of management information across the business. This is a key area for us as the work the team does helps drive and inform leadership action. We’ll support you to get fully involved and you’ll learn to provide reporting and analysis that is reliable, easy to interpret, and articulates a clear story.
This is what your time at Volkswagen Financial Services might look like:
1. Develop sound working relationships cross functionally and companywide to improve and then maintain data quality across the Risk department and the wider business.
2. Active involvement in all relevant projects understanding the impacts on reporting requirements to include requirement gathering, testing, and implementation.
3. Proactively develop and continuously improve outputs to anticipate the future needs of Operations, Fleet, and Commercial stakeholders.
4. Identify the right input sources and take ownership to deliver timely solutions and outputs which add value/meet the needs of stakeholders.
5. Be proficient in multiple systems in order to extract, combine, and analyze relevant data.
6. Lead on team mailbox calls to allocate queries to relevant members of the team whilst managing respective emails.
About you:
* Studying a degree in business or related field
* Aptitude for analysis and analytical skills
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Ability to manage stakeholders at varying levels and operating within/delivering through cross-functional teams
* Ability to adhere to strict deadlines
* Strong self and time management skills
* Self-motivated and comfortable with both independent work and as a part of a team
* Ability to work with large amounts of data and use the required tools to ensure accuracy and reliability

Here’s what our process looks like:
* Apply and upload your CV, covering letter, and answer a few application questions.
* You’ll then be invited to complete a Situational Judgement Test. This is a short multiple-choice question set to understand how you may approach situations.
* If you pass this stage, you will be invited to complete an online video interview where you will have the opportunity to tell us more about yourself.
* If successful, your final step in the journey is to attend an assessment centre at our Milton Keynes office where you will take part in a group exercise, complete a short interview, and deliver a presentation. You'll also meet some of our managers and current Undergraduates to learn more about a placement year with us.
