PRODUCT ENGINEERING: FUTURE PROPULSION SYSTEMS UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMME
Fossil fuels have dominated automotive propulsion, but our priorities are evolving. By the end of the decade, Range Rover, Discovery, and Defender will offer electric options, and Jaguar will be fully electric — you have the chance to be part of this journey.
As a Future Propulsion Systems undergraduate, you’ll learn to deliver high-quality propulsion systems of the future. You’ll work in diverse environments, using engineering tools like CAE, CAD, and data analysis, collaborating with various customer groups.
You’ll gain a systems view of the entire delivery landscape, working with programme management, purchasing, manufacturing, and external engineering service providers to create and deliver products meeting quality, cost, and time targets. We value new ideas and perspectives — we encourage you to challenge our thinking and influence our work.
Throughout the year-long programme, you’ll rotate through placements to develop your technical knowledge, working closely with managers to identify suitable opportunities for your growth.
