The Role
You will support the business in meeting the requirements of the Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment Management systems. The role will also involve assisting site teams and managers by identifying hazards and minimising risks while creating, maintaining, and improving health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. You will champion HSQE initiatives in the workplace whilst ensuring compliance with legislation.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the HSQE Manager in maintaining an effective Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management system for our client to meet legal, customer, company, moral, and other requirements.
* Ensure HSQE requirements, plans, and documentation are implemented, monitored, and reviewed, with performance reports in line with company, client, and contract standards.
* Provide technical support, coordination, and control to Directors, Managers, employees, and subcontractors on HSQE issues.
* Support projects to ensure CDM regulation compliance, including client/principal contractor duties and site requirements.
* Act as the interface with clients on HSQE matters.
* Ensure investigations for all HSQE accidents, incidents, and near misses are performed and acted upon.
* Establish and maintain an audit program to verify ongoing compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 standards.
* Ensure employees, subcontractors, and service providers adhere to contractual requirements and management systems to minimise HSQE risks.

* Demonstrable computer literacy in Microsoft Packages, including Word and Excel and experience in using computerised databases.
Required Experience
* Minimum of 2 years relevant experience working in a similar environment, alongside strong HSQE knowledge
* Minimum NEBOSH certificate or equivalent and have proven experience of recognised health, safety, Quality, and environmental systems such as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO14001:2015
* Internal / Lead Auditor QMS, EMS or OHSM qualification and experience
* Hold Membership of a professional organisation (e.g. IOSH, IIRSM, ISEP)
* Working knowledge of CDM compliance and the duties of the Client, Principal Contractor and Principle Designer
