GRS are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installations and maintenance work within the water industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise electrical teams working on water treatment plants, pumping stations, and associated infrastructure.
* Ensure all work complies with industry regulations, site procedures, and health & safety standards.
* Coordinate electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
* Carry out inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
* Manage materials, tools, and resources efficiently.
* Liaise with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors.
* Maintain accurate records and reports on site progress.
Requirements
* SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) Certification - Essential
* NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
* ECS Gold Card / CSCS Card (Preferred)
* Proven experience supervising electrical work in the water industry or similar environments (e.g., utilities, industrial sectors)
* Knowledge of control panels, motors, pumps, and automation systems
* Strong understanding of permit-to-work systems and site safety protocols
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
