A private equity backed, high growth consumer and B2B business is seeking an Interim Head of Technology to provide senior leadership and delivery capability during a critical phase of scale and international expansion.
Following a successful financial and operational turnaround, the business is now focused firmly on growth. Technology is a key enabler of that strategy, particularly across customer facing digital platforms, B2B ordering, and international markets.
This is a hands on, outcomes focused interim role, suited to an experienced technology leader who can step in quickly, take control, and drive delivery.
The role
Reporting into a senior executive sponsor, you will take full accountability for the technology function, providing stability, leadership, and momentum.
The focus of the role is weighted toward growth enablement rather than back office maintenance, with an approximate split of:
• 25 percent oversight of ERP, infrastructure, security, and core systems
• 75 percent focused on DTC and B2B digital platforms, portals, and international expansion
Key deliverables include:
• Leading the design, selection, and implementation of a B2B ordering portal to reduce manual processes and support scalable international growth
• Accelerating performance and localisation of DTC platforms across brands and geographies
• Providing senior leadership across ecommerce, digital, and customer facing platforms
• Managing internal technology resources and third party partners to drive pace and accountability
• Supporting decisions around in house versus outsourced development capability
• Ensuring continuity, stability, and robustness across ERP and operational systems
This is a delivery focused assignment with clear expectations around outcomes rather than theory.
The person
This assignment will suit a seasoned interim technology leader who is comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast moving environments.
You are likely to bring:
• Previous interim leadership experience within technology or digital functions
• Strong track record delivering B2B portals, ecommerce platforms, or large scale digital programmes
• Experience supporting international expansion and multi market platform rollouts
• The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands on execution
• Confidence operating at senior leadership and board level
• A pragmatic, commercially minded approach, focused on delivery and momentum
Private equity backed, turnaround, or high growth experience is strongly preferred.

This is an office based role by default, reflecting a deliberate focus on pace, collaboration, and decision making. Sensible flexibility exists for genuine personal commitments.
