CNC Setter (Days or Evening's) I am currently working on behalf of a leading Engineer company who produce precision parts to a number of clients. They are continuing to invest in their infrastructure and people and are making great strides in innovation and are growing at a good rate. They have recently purchased 2 brand new CNC machines and are now currently recruiting for a CNC Setter to run their CNC machines. We have 2 available positions (Day and Evening Shift) Main Duties & Responsibilities: Accurately reading & interpreting engineering drawings Setting and operating a 3-axis CNC mill and lathe to produce machined parts Programme machines on Fanuc controls In process inspection of goods and carrying out quality checks in line with our internal quality system Working in a meticulous manner, paying close attention to workmanship Working to set efficiency targets Operating in line with company health & safety policy relative to the workshop environment Operating in a safe & responsible manner at all times Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality Maintain good housekeeping & safe working environment Willingness to be flexible in accordance with the business needs Any other duties, within reason & capability, as determined by team leader Essential Criteria: 2 years experience in similar role Ability to edit programmes on CNC machines Experience of Fanuc controls Previous experience working to quality standards Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong numeracy and literacy skills Good level of verbal and written English Must be able to demonstrate a strong timekeeping & attendance record In return you will receive: Top rates on offer (DOE) Overtime regularly available Early finish on a Friday for days Evening shift 4 days flexible hours Flexible holidays Free on-site parking Learning & development opportunities Career progression opportunities What you need to do now This truly is a great role, if you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now on
