We’re looking for an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner to join our People Services team. This is a pivotal role supporting the Senior HR Business Partner in delivering strategic people initiatives across the business, including organisational design, change management, TUPE, acquisitions, integrations, engagement, and employee relations.
You’ll be at the heart of our People agenda, helping shape the employee experience while driving continuous improvement and supporting business transformation.
This is a full‑time permanent role, working on a hybrid basis from our office in Middlewich.
What You Will Do
* Lead organisational design and change management initiatives
* Manage TUPE processes, including data collation and consultations
* Support acquisitions, integrations, and business sale due diligence
* Deliver HR reports and people data insights to support decision‑making
* Manage a caseload of employee relations issues and prepare for tribunals where required
* Advise People Managers on employee relations, policy, and change management
* Coach and support junior members of the People Services team
* Manage escalated queries around immigration, onboarding, and general HR matters
* Conduct policy reviews and develop tailored HR documentation
* Support leadership and operations training programmes
* Lead attrition management projects, including leaver calls and analysis
* Deliver ER clinics and support ongoing learning for operational managers
* Manage the RCA process for any People Services process incidents
* Partner with the Head of HR to deliver HR projects and HRBP services across the business
About You
You’re a confident communicator and trusted advisor who builds strong relationships and delivers practical, solutions‑focused HR support. You bring credibility, resilience, and a calm approach to complex or sensitive matters. You’re highly organised, analytically minded, and passionate about using data to drive better people outcomes.
You will:
* Have part or full CIPD Level 7 qualification (or equivalent experience)
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of employee relations, contracts, and employment law
* Bring prior experience as a Junior HRBP or HRBP, ideally within a fast‑paced environment
* Have experience leading change management and TUPE processes
* Be confident handling complex ER cases and supporting investigations
* Translate policy and legislation into clear, actionable guidance
* Be comfortable using Excel to produce meaningful analytics and insights
* Write clear, effective HR policies and communications
* Be a critical thinker with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Hold a valid UK driving licence and be willing to travel to sites as needed
* Maintain a flexible, professional, and cooperative approach to work
