Job Details
We are seeking to recruit a dedicated Operations and Facilities Compliance Officer to join the compliance team at a reputable UK law firm and provide comprehensive support to fee earners and business services staff.
This role offers hybrid working of 3 days in the office, and 2 days from home.
Responsibilities
1. Provide expert support to fee earners and business services staff regarding potential new services from third parties, available products, and internal compliance processes.
2. Collaborate with various teams to facilitate the launch of new products/services.
3. Review compliance terms in contracts and maintain a register to monitor suppliers' compliance with obligations.
4. Offer advice on statutory and regulatory changes affecting the firm.
5. Assist with information security and GDPR requirements.
6. Develop reports to measure compliance and contribute to the firm's overall objectives.

Requirements
10. Previous experience in a legal services environment is essential.
11. Facilities or Operation experience preferred.
12. Able to assess/monitor the compliance of third-party suppliers providing products and services that would be used to support delivery of services.
13. In-depth knowledge of compliance standards.
14. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
15. Attention to detail and client-facing skills are crucial.
16. Proficiency in IT tools and systems.
17. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and maintain professional ethics at all times.
