Job Title: Junior Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £30,000 per annum

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor with at least 1 year of experience to join our growing team based in Andover. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in electrical contracting who is looking to further develop their skills in a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the preparation of cost estimates, tenders, and contract documents.
* Measure and value electrical works in progress and completed projects.
* Support in the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
* Assist in cost control and financial reporting.
* Work closely with project managers and site teams to monitor progress and ensure commercial success.
* Attend site meetings and assist with valuations and variations.
* Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial obligations.
Requirements
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally with an electrical contractor.
* A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or a related field (HNC/HND/Degree preferred).
* Basic understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.
* Good numeracy and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
* Full UK driving licence preferred.
