Band 8a Non-Medical Prescriber – Adult ADHD Service We are seeking Non-Medical Prescribers / ADHD Nurse Practitioners to join the Adult Neurodevelopmental Service at Horizon House (Epsom) Key details: * Role: ADHD Nurse Practitioner / Non-Medical Prescriber * Band: 8a * Location: Horizon House, Epsom / Remote (hybrid) * Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm * Contract: ASAP – 31st March 2026 * Rate: £35 per hour Job purpose: To practice as a clinical nurse specialist and non-medical prescriber, taking primary responsibility for the prescribing and review of treatments for adults with ADHD, while supporting the wider Neurodevelopmental Service. Key responsibilities: * Assess, diagnose, and manage ADHD in adults, including prescribing, titration, and medication review * Manage a caseload and liaise with consultants, GPs, and other services * Conduct screening and risk assessments for referrals * Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to Trust policies * Contribute to service development, audits, and clinical governance * Participate in ongoing professional development and support NMP governance Essential requirements: * Registered nurse (RMN, RGN, RNLD, or equivalent) with NMC registration * Non-Medical Prescriber qualification (Independent or Supplementary) * Relevant NHS experience, including ADHD assessment and treatment in adults * Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and leadership skills * Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team * Full driving licence and access to a vehicle Apply now to join a supportive, innovative team within the Adult Neurodevelopmental Service
