Our ambitious Richmond school is seeking a dedicated and skilled Music Teacher to join our successful and growing Music department. Location: Richmond Role: Music Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent) TLR: Opportunities available for a dedicated Music Teacher
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and challenging Music lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5).
* Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for a wide range of musical genres and styles.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Music curriculum.
* Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Music.
* TLR opportunities may include leading a key stage, directing musical ensembles, managing instrumental tuition, or developing links with external musical organizations.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Degree in Music or a related field.
* Proven experience teaching Music at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
* Strong musical skills, including performance experience and theoretical knowledge.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead musical activities.
* Demonstrated leadership potential and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities within the Music department and school
