Metrologist Permanent, Full-time Oxford £ Competitive Excellent Benefits Metrologist Responsibilities: Operating and programming X-Ray Computed Tomography (XCT) equipment to inspect complex components. Supporting engineering and production teams with dimensional and defect analysis. Maintaining calibration, traceability, and radiation safety documentation. Designing and producing simple fixtures for scanning. Working collaboratively with colleagues to improve inspection processes and accuracy. Metrologist Requirements: Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline. Interest in metrology, inspection, and 3D measurement technology. Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving ability. Organised and capable of working independently as well as within a team. Enthusiasm to learn and develop in a high-accuracy engineering environment. Desirable: Experience or awareness of XCT, CMM, or 3D scanning equipment. Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T. Interest in data analysis, non-destructive testing, or additive manufacturing.
